Throughout her career, Ms. Iurillo has focused her practice on Bankruptcy and Business Litigation. She has represented businesses and lending institutions as creditors in commercial litigation matters, workouts, Chapter 11 reorganizations and Chapter 7 and 13 consumer bankruptcy matters. She has represented creditors nationally in business, retail and nursing home Chapter 11 bankruptcies. Ms. Iurillo has spoken on a number of occasions at the national level with respect to nursing home bankruptcies.
Ms. Iurillo has represented debtors through the Chapter 11 process, including publicly held debtors and nursing homes. Her practice also involves counseling consumer debtors, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 work with a focus on contested matters such as objection to exemptions, objection to discharge and fraudulent transfer cases.
Ms. Iurillo has represented lending institutions in mortgage foreclosures. In addition, Ms. Iurillo has represented local businesses and individuals in litigation involving matters such as contract disputes, partnership and shareholder disputes, complex disputes involving ownership in real property, disputes involving asset purchase agreements, non compete agreements, employment agreements, and contract for purchase and sale of real estate.
