Camille Iurillo Chairs St. Petersburg Bar Foundation’s Professionalism Seminar “Changes in Latitude - Changes in Attitude” on February 10, 2017

The Seminar was well attended and the word from the crowd was that “it was the best seminar they ever attended!” The topics were entertaining, enlightening, and educational including 1) attorneys as agents of social change; 2) the vacation that almost wasn’t, and 3) an inspirational presentation by Dr. Srikumar S. Rao. We made great headway toward our “Changes in Latitude - Changes in Attitude.” There was fantastic interaction with the speakers, judges, and attorneys in attendance that made it a lively time for all.

A part of the Seminar included a wellness fair with, in excess of, 20 vendors from our local community. We all learned about the plethora of programs to improve our health and well-being by participating in smart nutrition, exercise, yoga and the like, all of which are right in “our backyard” so, no excuses!

The purpose of the seminar was to raise funds for the St. Petersburg Bar Foundation, which is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. The mission of the Foundation is to fund, develop, and promote efforts that encourage better public understanding of, and access to, the judicial system. Thanks to Ms. Iurillo’s efforts, a number of sponsors came forward to donate to the event. The proceeds of the Seminar go directly to fund the scholarships and grants that support the Foundation’s mission statement.
